We are looking for a fantastic individual to join the company in the newly created role of Recruitment Manager. The successful candidate will have a great opportunity to help drive the next phase of our growth and shape the company through the new team members they bring in.
The Recruitment Manager will work closely with product and engineering teams to understand the problem domain the Company is working with, and be able to write job descriptions and find talent to fill the gaps. The Recruitment Manager will also work closely with the HR Manager with regards to the available positions, to the offers made to successful candidates and the on-boarding of new team members.
Responsible for the full recruitment cycle from liaising with line managers about vacancies through to a new starter’s first day, specifically; writing job descriptions, identifying and sourcing candidates, interviewing, providing feedback, and making offers.
Work closely with the HR Manager with regards to the onboarding of new team members
Manage Appvia's recruiting platforms and online presence. Eg. Angelist and LinkedIn pages.
Own, refine and iterate hiring processes and recruitment documentation, in line with the key areas of law surrounding recruitment and selection. Including, the potential implementation of online recruitment and assessment tools, such as employment related testing.
Network and community building including; running/attending events for hiring and university campus hiring days, as well as events to ensure Appvia has a strong voice in the start-up ecosystem. This includes ensuring that you have the correct marketing materials in order to run/attend such events.
Run assessment centres if/as required
Create and build relationships with recruitment agencies key to our industry
Be a strong brand ambassador
Experience in candidate tracking systems such as Google Hire
Experience in an in-house or agency recruitment role
Experience of working through the full recruitment cycle
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent research and sourcing skills, using a variety of sourcing methods
Proven experience of managing multiple roles at one time
Proven track record in the technology marketplace
Understanding of open source technologies and the ecosystem surrounding them
Understanding of cloud technologies
Calm under pressure with the ability to prioritise accordingly
Fantastic communication skills
Driven, self-motivated and results orientated
Ability to form and maintain key relationships
Strong understanding of the legalities surrounding recruitment and selection
